Didn’t I say the Salukis would get their revenge sooner or later? Well, unless you didn’t read that part, in which case why not?
What was special about this game wasn’t just the great finish (including video filmed by yours truly), but the fact that we were able to travel for the game. It was the first time we sent staff to a road game other than Arch Madness, and it helped set a precedent for traveling to (reasonable) games to help bolster our coverage of the Dawgs.
The 2023 SEMO game story won first place at the 2024 ICPA awards in the category of Sports Game Story. Winning the wheel sure is sweet, isn’t it?
